Job summary

Fitness Machine Technicians of The Villages is seeking a repair technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on residential and commercial fitness equipment. You will troubleshoot, parts identification, and complete service reports on-site at customer locations with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience working with hand tools is required.
• Experience repairing fitness equipment is a plus but not necessary; CFET Training Program will prepare you for the job.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use a phone/tablet for scheduling and job reports.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fitness equipment at customer locations (homes and commercial facilities).
• Identify and report replacement parts needed.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment and perform installations at commercial facilities.
• Complete accurate customer work order reports using our Field Service Management software.
• Interact professionally with customers to maintain great relationships and explain repairs.
• Drive from job to job in a branded vehicle; daily local travel.
• Occasionally lift heavy equipment.
