Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment in a resort-style environment. You’ll be trained on the job, contributing to club safety by promptly repairing non-functional gear and performing preventative maintenance.

The role coordinates general repairs with club management and supports a high-quality member experience. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, record-keeping for repairs, and collaboration with the Department Head on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Little to no related experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks.
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
