Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment in our resort-style environment. Training provided; no prior experience required.

You will ensure safety, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate general repairs with club management. The role involves recording repairs, managing electrical components and basic building tasks, and assisting with budget-related duties. CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Less than 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and building tasks
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget
