Life Time Inc. in Bloomington, MN is hiring a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment in our resort-style environment.

No prior experience required; you’ll be trained on the job and will ensure safety by promptly repairing non-functional gear and performing preventative maintenance. You will keep repair records, handle basic electrical components and AV systems, coordinate with club management, and assist with budget tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in related field.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks.
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
