Job summary

Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville seeks a Wellness Center supervisor to assist with daily operations, client orientation, and floor supervision. You will coach clients on safe equipment use and help market wellness programs to grow membership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a fitness field, at least two years of related experience, and current certifications (ACE/ACSM/CPR). Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in fitness related field


• Minimum of two years related experience


• Current certifications, (i.e. ACE personal trainer; ACSM health/fitness instructor; CPR).

Required Abilities/Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skill required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is of medium to heavy demand.


• Routine lifting requirements up to 25 pounds


• Occasional lifting requirements up to 100 pounds.


• Lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, sitting, bending and reaching required.
