Job description

Holland Village is seeking a Fitness Coordinator to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF FITNESS COORDINATOR:

• Work with therapy teams once residents are finished to ensure continued stability and maintain the progress the resident has made.
• Manage 2 fitness rooms & equipment in the Independent Living & Personal Care Living areas, providing orientation & instruction on utilizing the equipment.
• Offer strength & balance classes for residents.
• Provide a variety of health-related classes, such as meditation and brain fitness classes.
• Manage aquatic fitness programs including arthritis classes, open swim, and water aerobics.
• Lead community walking groups both indoors and outdoors.
• Collaborate with dietitians to work with residents on healthy diets.
