Become part of our team! We are seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Fitness Concierge for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Seasonal Part-Time Fitness Concierge provides a warm and friendly atmosphere in the Fitness Centre and offers genuine hospitality while providing a consistently high level of customer service to the Membership and Guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS –

• Enthusiastically greets each member/guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the Fitness Centre
• Checks each member/guest into the Fitness Centre using the proper check-in procedures, answers telephone calls with a smile, booking of fitness classes and personal training, and assisting members with merchandise sales.
• Ensures all fitness classes, services and retail are charged correctly through Jonas Software
• Monitor Fitness Centre, assisting members and guests with proper exercise equipment use and answering Fitness Centre related questions.
• Quickly addresses any maintenance or equipment issues that are visible to members.
• Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries, and concerns with follow through and completion of task.
• Follow proper opening and closing procedures as instructed in the SOP Fitness Manual
• Always provide a clean and organized Welcome Desk
• Ensure to follow Fitness Centre cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Daily cleaning of fitness equipment, exercise classroom and specific workout areas
• Produce proof of any fitness and First Aid, CPR & AED certifications, and re-certifications
• Must be available for weekends and holidays.
• Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
• Required to participate in all club-wide fitness department events, activities, and programs: Turkey Trott, Christmas 5K walk/Run, Easter Egg hunt, Sandcastle Contest, and special events.

Must have the ability to move heavy objects. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 45 pounds.May be exposed to human body fluids. Must be physically present.
