Job summary

Taymax Group, LP is hiring for a Front Desk/Member Services position at our Ontario, CA Planet Fitness club. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment, assisting members with tours, check-ins, and inquiries, and supporting overall club operations.

We seek individuals with a passion for fitness, strong customer service, reliability, and CPR certification. Training will cover the PE@PF program, equipment orientation, and daily maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF) is required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize members with the facility and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and provide motivation.
• Instruct and acquaint members with equipment and safety.
• Create bi-weekly updates with varied exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks: answer phones, sign-ups, tours, member check-ins, and inquiries.
• Support daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Address member questions promptly and escalate when needed.
• Other duties as assigned to support club operations.
