Job summary

Excel Fitness in Knightdale, NC is seeking a hands-on Club Operations supervisor to lead a small team, ensure excellent member service, and maintain the club’s cleanliness and atmosphere. You will support the GM/AM in implementing member attraction strategies and training new Team Players, while ensuring compliance with policies and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification required; training provided within 30 days if not certified.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and supervise others.
• Evidence of leadership to manage a team.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems proactively.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.
• Familiar with Excel and Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/AM in implementing member attraction/retention strategies.
• Train new Team Players; act as a resource for questions and training on processes.
• Use Team Performance Tracker to meet company metrics.
• Supervise and inspire Team Players to perform their best.
• Maintain high levels of member service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
• Identify training needs and report findings to club management.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure Excel standards are met.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and address minor infractions.
• Perform daily club inspections and assign/verify tasks.
• Hold Team Players accountable for standards; review daily paperwork.
• Audit inventory and communicate with GM/AM on inventory orders.
• Oversee club operations when GM/AM unavailable.
• Stay proficient with PFHQ and Excel platforms.
