Job summary

Excel Fitness in Fort Worth is seeking a proactive Team Leader to support the General Manager and Assistant Manager. You will train staff, uphold member service standards, and help drive membership growth.

You’ll audit operations, manage inventories, and participate in community outreach to reinforce Excel Fitness values. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required or to be completed within 30 days of employment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/AM in implementing member attraction/retention strategies based on Excel Core Values.
• Train new Team Players; answer questions, model behaviors, and train on processes.
• Use Team Performance Tracker to meet company metrics.
• Supervise and inspire Team Players to perform at their best.
• Maintain high levels of member service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
• Identify training needs and report findings to club management.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure club meets Excel Standards.
• Ensure adherence to policies; report major infractions to management.
• Perform daily club inspections and assign/verify tasks.
• Hold Team Players accountable and audit daily paperwork.
• Audit club inventory; communicate with GM/AM on inventory orders.
• May oversee club operations when GM/AM are off.
• Stay proficient in PFHQ and Excel platforms and updates.
• Assist GM and represent Excel Fitness at community events.
