Job summary

Taymax Group, LP, a Planet Fitness franchisee, is seeking an Assistant Manager in Hemet, CA to help supervise club operations and ensure a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone experience for members and guests.

Join a hands-on team supporting the Club Manager with staff recruiting, training, scheduling, front desk duties, member services, payroll processing, and club upkeep while maintaining safety and promoting health and fitness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience preferably in a similar gym or retail environment.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic, and a passion for health and fitness!
• Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and must have own reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and training staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with staff management and scheduling.
• Greet members and guests, check in, sign up new members and communicate updates.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the club.
• Assist in payroll processing.
• Lead front desk activities and daily operations.
• Ensure safety and coordinate with facilities maintenance.
• Assist in marketing efforts and deposits.
