Job summary

Ochsner Health in Harahan, LA seeks an Operations Supervisor for the Fitness Center to oversee daily facilities operations and a ~200-employee team during shifts. You will work with VPs, directors and managers to meet service and budget goals, ensure safety, and coordinate events.

You will open/close the facility, monitor deposits, support budget adherence, and enforce policies. Strong communication, computer literacy, and the ability to work flexible hours (including weekends) are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/AED and BLS certifications required.
• Computer skills and data entry proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Fitness Center and coordinates with department managers.
• Coordinates deposits and ensures finances balance; handles daily bank deposits.
• Opens and closes facility in a timely manner.
• Supports budgetary goals for the organization and monitors safety issues.
• Maintains compliance with policies and standards; coordinates special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures accessibility and safety.
