Role Description The Fitness Center Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Naperville, IL, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fitness facility within a residential or commercial property. This role includes supervising fitness staff, coordinating group exercise and training programs, and ensuring that personal training services meet safety and quality standards. The Fitness Center Manager will monitor equipment and facility conditions, manage schedules, support member engagement, and implement wellness initiatives aligned with Arch Amenities Group’s service standards. The role also involves handling member inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with property management to drive participation, satisfaction, and overall program success.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Group Exercise and Group Training to plan, oversee, or instruct effective group fitness classes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of the Fitness Industry and experience in Personal Training to support safe, individualized client programs.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Exercise Physiology to apply evidence-based principles to programming and member guidance.
• Relevant certifications such as CPT, group fitness, or exercise physiology credentials from recognized organizations (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) are highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate diverse populations and build community within the fitness center.
• Organizational and leadership abilities to manage schedules, staff, and daily operations while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Prior experience managing or supervising a fitness facility, wellness program, or similar operation is preferred.
