Job summary

Brays Island Plantation is seeking a dedicated Fitness Center Manager responsible for overall leadership, operations, and programming to deliver high-quality fitness, longevity, and wellness experiences in a welcoming environment.

You will supervise staff, develop programs, manage budgets, coordinate contractors, and ensure safety and maintenance, while engaging owners to tailor fitness offerings.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a bachelor's in a related field.
• Certifications in personal training or group fitness are preferred.
• Experience managing a fitness facility or wellness center is expected.
• Strong communication, leadership, and staff management skills.
• Budget management and administrative experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop fitness staff through scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Foster a service-oriented team culture aligned with One Brays leadership.
• Plan and execute fitness programs, events, and wellness initiatives.
• Oversee daily operations: safety, cleanliness, and full operational readiness.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and group fitness schedules.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Manage budget, expenses, and administrative records.
