Job summary

HealthFitness in Omaha, NE is seeking a Fitness Program Manager to launch a brand-new fitness center this October. Lead a team of health and fitness professionals, teach group exercise classes, and build a thriving community focused on members' health and well-being.

You’ll shape the member experience from the ground up, create engaging programs, manage operations, and deliver outcomes-focused services while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline.
• 2+ years’ related industry experience.
• NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer certification.
• Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA.
• Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications with in-person component.

Responsibilities

• Manage all program activities in line with HealthFitness standards.
• Develop and implement yearly strategic plan, budgets, and client objectives.
• Lead staff meetings and ensure associates are informed about events and initiatives.
• Ensure contract compliance and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Direct implementation of fitness programs, health education, and wellness events.
• Track data and produce management reports focused on outcomes and goals.
