This position monitors the safe use of the Fitness Center, following Hotel Hershey's training protocols.

Job Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of cardiovascular and weight equipment
• Monitor safe use of all equipment
• Provide safe instruction on equipment use
• Ensure each guest signs a release to use equipment
• Provide towels to guests
• Promote fitness classes
• Perform daily bank deposits
• Support other recreation operations
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in locker rooms
• Keep work areas neat while providing excellent guest service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience in guest service, preferably in hospitality

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Interest in fitness activities
• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability
• Good communication skills

Job Demands

• Part-time, year-round position with flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have hand/eye coordination and be able to lift up to 20 lbs
