Job summary

Exos Dallas is seeking an Assistant Manager, Fitness to lead programs, manage staff, and cultivate client relationships in a dynamic wellness environment. You will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging health initiatives and ensuring high-quality service for diverse client populations.

You will oversee personal training, group exercise programs, and staff development, while guiding annual plans, budgeting, and performance management to drive program success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience overseeing a large staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field (e.g., Kinesiology, Exercise Science).
  • Current, nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, NASM, NSCA, or equivalent).
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure program success and satisfaction.
  • Develop strategic annual plans, achieving both short- and long-term program goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial management for fitness programs and operations.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise full- and part-time staff, while fostering team growth and managing performance.
  • Lead and oversee personal training and group exercise programs, ensuring high-quality service and client engagement.
  • Mentor and guide college interns, providing professional development opportunities.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate health promotion initiatives, incentive programs, and specialty offerings.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, develop exercise prescriptions, and provide first workouts for diverse populations, including high-risk participants.
  • Supervise and monitor the exercise floor to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
  • Manage administrative processes, including membership enrollments, terminations, and member inquiries.
