Job summary

Austintown Fitch High School in Austintown, Ohio, is seeking five enthusiastic Fitch Wrestling Assistant Coaches to support our athletes and coaching staff. The roles are full‑time commitments for the school year, with responsibilities aligned to the district’s athletics program.

Qualified applicants will have high school or college coaching experience, a strong knowledge of wrestling rules and techniques, and the ability to work closely with staff, parents, and students.

Job Description

AEA supplemental requests via an internal applicationwill be accepted until 2:00 pm on 9/23/26

Salary:
AEA Members: 8% of the Base Salary in accordance with the AEA Negotiated Agreement
Non-AEA Members: 8% of the base salary on the Non-degreed Certificated Salary Schedule

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Pupil Activity Permit
• Current Coaches' Tool Chest Certification
• Favorable State (BCII) and Federal (FBI) background checks
• Negative drug screen result

Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include being punctual and capable of completing all duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must meet the requirements of Pupil Activity Permit and complete any compliance courses assigned by Administration.
