Salary

AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the AEA Certified Salary Schedule
Non-AEA Members: 3% of the base salary on the Non‑Degreed Certified Salary Schedule

Essential Duties

• Must have extensive knowledge of percussion technique and instruction
• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior
• Positive, high energy, and committed
• Partner well with the band staff
• Ability to establish working relationships with co‑workers and function as a cohesive team
• Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members, and directors
• Responsible, professional, and embody high ethical standards and integrity
• Attend drumline rehearsals, marching band rehearsals, and marching band performances
• Attend spring training rehearsals for band trip and spring drumline clinics at the middle school
• Work with the Drumline Captains to develop a high‑quality drumline
