Job summary

Scheels in Fargo, ND is seeking a diligent Merchandiser to support store presentation and inventory flow. You will unload freight, tag and price merchandise, restock floors, and assist customers while following shop guidelines and leadership directions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ownership mindset, and flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Must be able to handle physical tasks and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag/fold/hang/price merchandise for the sales floor or back stock.
• Restock merchandise and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieved and loaded purchases.
• Follow Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain an orderly store and back stock areas; keep general cleanliness.
• Work independently and with the team; demonstrate ownership and accountability.
• Exercise judgment and tact; interact with all levels within the organization.
• Be detail-oriented; willing to take on additional tasks as assigned.
• Scheduled hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
