Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Marine Fisheries, seeks a Program Analyst II to serve as the DMF Director’s proxy on the SAFMC and to coordinate fisheries policy statewide. • Serve as the DMF Director’s proxy representing NC and its fishing interests on the SAFMC.
• Coordinate with DMF sections to develop policies and positions on upcoming management issues.
• Lead policy development, implement initiatives, and engage with committees and public hearings.
