Stew Leonard’s is hiring for a Part-Time Host/Hostess in East Meadow, NY. You will greet customers, assist with questions, and manage lines to ensure a positive shopping experience across departments including Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce.

Responsibilities include weighing, pricing products, and maintaining a friendly store environment. Must be 18+ and able to work flexible hours in a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.75-18 depending on qualifications and experience

Position Description

As Host/Hostesses, you will greet and assist customers, manage wait lines, and ensure a positive shopping experience. You will be answering product questions, offering recommendations, weighing and pricing product ordered by customers at service bar in the following departments: Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce.
