Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Colorado is seeking a skilled seafood processor to cut, trim and boned carcass sections or fillets, ensuring portions meet specifications. This role requires clean, careful handling of seafood and accurate weighing of fillets for serving sizes.

You will also receive, inspect and store seafood shipments, record quantities, and perform basic cuts with attention to safety and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to use cutting utensils and operate pallet jack or forklift.
• Flexible with evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shift details : Sunday to Thursday; 9:00 am to Close

This position is responsible for cutting, trimming & boning carcass sections or fillets to reduce cooking cuts.

• Cleaning, preparing fish, and discarding inedible parts.
• Cutting and weighing fillets and portions for individual servings.
• Receiving, inspecting and storing seafood upon delivery.
• Recording quantity of seafood received and issued.
• Basic cuts (fillet), scaling, portions (bias cut, square cut)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-three years related experience and/or training
• Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Visual Requirements:

• Close, distance, color and peripheral vision
• Depth perception
• The ability to adjust focus
