Job summary

El Super in Los Angeles is seeking a Fish Clerk for Store #17 Slauson (U). You will provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain the seafood display area, rotating stock and keeping cases clean in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Under direct supervision of the Meat Manager, you will lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and use basic PC skills as needed. Starting wage is $18.45 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Meat Manager, the Fish Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged period of times.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
