El Super is hiring a Fish Clerk for store #15 in Inglewood, CA. Under the supervision of the Meat Manager, you will set up and maintain seafood displays, assist customers, and ensure clean, well-stocked cases to provide great service.

The role requires lifting up to 50–60 pounds, standing for long periods, and a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification. The position is part of the El Super Store Operations Team with opportunities and benefits.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Meat Manager, the Fish Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged period of times.
