Job summary

Levy Restaurants is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to lead daily kitchen operations and uphold safety and quality standards across events and services. You will supervise food preparation, sanitation, and team performance while driving guest satisfaction with Levy signatures and best practices.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and reporting to leadership, ensuring consistent execution of standards at all venues and events nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in foodservice supervision or similar.
• Experience maintaining sanitation standards and recipes.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver high-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily opening and closing procedures alongside team members.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and event execution.
• Ensure all food items are prepared to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct and train team members on daily sanitation inspections across all active operational areas.
• Identify and report any safety or sanitation violations to direct supervisors.
• Ensure proper storage or disposal of excess food in accordance with safe food handling procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness during and after food preparation and events.
• Train team members on Levy core signatures, best practices, and operational standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to support team growth and performance.
• Set clear goals for the team and support efforts to meet and exceed expectations.
• Accept feedback openly and work diligently to improve leadership skills and culinary expertise.
• Regularly report progress on tasks and team goals to direct supervisors.
• Ensure Levy standards are consistently upheld at all events.
• Assist with ordering and receiving food and supplies as needed, while ensuring storerooms remain clean and organized.
• Facilitate production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required by leadership.
• Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, guests, clients, and leadership.

Job Summary

Position Summary: The Culinary Supervisor supports culinary leadership in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, safety, and team performance.
