Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a part-time, event-based team member for venues in Milwaukee in partnership with FISERV Forum, the Milwaukee Bucks, and Marquette Eagles. You will follow recipes, know menu items, maintain cleanliness, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced setting.

Requires at least 1 year of cooking or related experience, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and basic English reading/writing/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipe guidelines and knows menu items for the position.

• Performs station setup and breakdown duties; assists with inventory handling.

PART TIME, EVENT BASED, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FISERV FORUM, MILWAUKEE BUCKS, AND MARQUETTE EAGLES $22.28/HR, UNION POSITION.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Service

• Follows recipe guidelines
• Knows menu items specific to position
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines
• Acts with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
• All product cooked and served according to recipe specifications and food safety/sanitation practices

Controls

• Maintains work area
• Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices
• Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook

Team

• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
• Always on time and ready to perform all required duties
• Helps fellow team members whenever necessary

Job Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• English reading, writing and math skills required
• Lifts and transports up to 60 lbs.
• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain work (service) area
• Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
• Walks and stands during entire shift
