MCCALL & ASSOCIATES CPAS PLLC is seeking a knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. You will prepare clients’ tax filings and advise on strategies to maximize savings and make sound financial decisions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Valid PTIN and CAF number.
• 5 years of experience as a Tax Professional.
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks (PC and Online), UltraTax.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Analyze income statements, prior tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Provide guidance to clients on minimizing tax obligations.
• File taxes accurately and timely.
• Prepare multi-state sales tax reports.
• Prepare payroll reports (limited).

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income
• Prepare financial statements
• Provide sound advice to clients on minimizing their tax obligations
• File taxes in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare Sales tax reports - multi-state
• Prepare payroll reports - limited
• Communicate with tax authorities when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and CAF number
• Previous 5 years of experience as a Tax Professional
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks -PC and Online, Ultratax
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
