The Fiscal Operations Manager role supports all areas of fiscal operational excellence at the University. The incumbent performs advanced bookkeeping duties in recording, reviewing, processing, and controlling financial records and documentation ensuring the compliance of all new and restricted/ sponsored programs.
Work involves detailed examination of a variety of records and documents for propriety, quality, and accurate conformity to established fiscal procedures and university policies. The work is performed independently within a framework of prescribed accounting procedures and university regulations. The role operates within the TitleIII Part B Grant and works under the supervision of the Senior Director of ORSP/ Title III.
Three or more years working in Finance at the Higher Education level or three years of related work involvingFiscalAffairsandfinancialrecords,includingtheapplicationofaccountingorfiscalprinciples and practices; a Bachelor's degree required, however a Master's degree is preferred.
