Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
One year of experience in collection, compilation, analysis, and presentation of data to provide an accurate account of administrative and operating costs.
A Master's degree may substitute for the required experience.
Ability to analyze expenditures to ensure contractual and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

Advises program administrators on fiscal problems arising in funding contracts and required financial reports.
Reviews funding contracts and grants to determine fund dispersion within guidelines.
Maintains financial records and supervises their accuracy.
Audits program financial records to ensure proper use of expended funds.
Assists in preparation of program budgets and monthly financial reports.
Learns to use agency financial systems and recording/information systems.
