Grinnell College is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Student Involvement to design and implement programs that support first-year and transfer students. Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years for Assistant level and 3-5 years for Associate level of relevant work experience.

• Plans and runs successful events from start to finish.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee orientation, transitions, and retention programs for new and transfer students.
• Recruit, interview, select, and supervise New Student Ambassadors and Transfer Student Peer Mentors.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Division of Student Affairs, faculty, staff, and admissions to support student success and belonging.
• Serve on the First-Year Experience leadership team and manage staff development and evaluation.
