Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Three years of related experience in a college or university setting or sales and customer service setting.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish, preferred.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and a good work ethic.
• Comfortable in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of technology and CRM systems; proficient with Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, training, and supervision to Admission Counselors to achieve enrollment goals.
• Develop an original marketing plan for assigned territories using department resources.
• Speak and present to broad audiences to drive applications and admissions.
• Train Admission Counselors in evaluation of applications and scholarship determination.
• Manage multiple databases (e.g., Salesforce, Jenzabar) and run reports to guide recruitment.
• Contact potential students by phone, text, and email; respond to information requests.
• Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus events (open houses, receptions).
• Collaborate with faculty to understand needs for marketing the university.
• Present to groups; conduct student interviews; provide guidance to prospective students and families.
• Prepare year-to-date and final progress reports for the Director; perform other duties as assigned.
