Job summary

Kadant Black Clawson LLC is seeking a Welder for the first shift to assemble and weld components per blueprints or instructions. The role requires strict adherence to tolerances using TIG, flux core, MIG, and stick welding processes.

You will operate brake presses, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and hydraulic rollers, while maintaining a clean work area and documenting hours and transactions for production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• ASME 9 and AWS D1.1 certifications or equivalent required for stainless and carbon steel welding.
• Three years of welding experience MIG, TIG and Flux Core.

Responsibilities

• Welds components per instructions using TIG, Flux Core, MIG, or Stick.
• Verifies components are prepared and braced for welding.
• Operate brake press, hydraulic presses, drill press, and hydraulic rollers.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Record job transactions and router hours accurately.
• Adhere to KBC safety and attendance policies.
