Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform duties in the assigned area and assist in leadership activities. The role includes supervising during the manager's absence, delegating work, and ensuring safety and policy compliance on a 1st shift schedule in Norwalk, Ohio.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with benefits for experience. Candidates will train new staff, maintain records, and contribute to a productive, compliant team within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Training and mentoring others at an intermediate level.
• Attention to detail with thoroughness and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel).
• Experience with SAP and administrative tasks.
• Strong reading and quantitative skills with good comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delegating work assignments in department.
• Monitors and verifies tasks align with company policies and standards.
• Participates in training new employees and retraining staff.
• Maintains departmental records and paperwork.
• Leads the team on safe work practices and housekeeping/compliance.
• Inspects equipment and reports issues to supervisor or manager.
• Assists in completing performance evaluations.
• Provides direction in the manager/supervisor's absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
