Job summary

Sioux Chief in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. This role leads daily warehouse activities, ensures safety, accuracy, and on-time completion, and collaborates with Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Transportation, and management.

You will supervise and support team members, prioritize workload, monitor inventory, and ensure proper use of warehouse systems and equipment, contributing to a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of shipping/warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with warehouse systems, scanners, and business tech.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Prioritize workload and keep workflow moving throughout the shift.
• Coordinate and monitor employees involved in warehouse operations and material movement.
• Promote a safe work environment and help identify and correct safety concerns.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with investigating discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse equipment, scanners, systems, and tools are being used properly.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
• Work closely with Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Transportation, and management.
• Set clear expectations, support team members, and help maintain a positive, productive work environment.

• Comfortable using warehouse systems, scanners, computers, and common business technology
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends when business needs require
