Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems/ERP; Produce Pro a plus.
• Good communication, organization, time management and math skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping and receiving responsibilities, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepare orders by selecting items, staging them, and packing as needed.
• Sort and place materials on racks, pallets per standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Maintain inventory controls and record stock movements; assist in counting physical inventory.
• Prepare parcels for shipping.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; organize warehouse.
• Wear proper safety equipment.
• Assess quality of product.
