Job summary

Bozzuto's Inc. is hiring a 2nd shift Warehouse Selector in Cheshire, CT. You will select, store, pack and monitor inventory, ensuring safety, product integrity and efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and voice-picking systems, constructing pallets, and maintaining quality while meeting productivity standards. The role requires English proficiency and may involve diverse shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year distribution, warehouse or selection experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Experience with powered industrial equipment is a plus (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Operates powered equipment safely (center riders, long-forks, forklifts) and uses proper lifting techniques.
• Completes pre/post-shift procedures and equipment checks.
• Uses voice selection system to pick products per orders.
• Constructs pallets using interlocking method and labels correctly.
• Maintains product quality and minimizes damage throughout shift.
• Moves pallets to designated bays according to transactions.
• Meets or exceeds established productivity standards for selection.
• Follows HACCP/SQF procedures for assigned locations and conditions.
• Maintains a safe, clean warehouse environment; supports shift coverage as needed.
• Works varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
