Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Springfield, OH is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Selector (full time). You will stand for long hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a freezer. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday, with some overtime and holiday shifts; start time around 6:50 am (shifts vary by volume).

Starting pay is $20.90 per hour, with raises based on performance. Gordon Food Service provides weekly pay, benefits from day one, wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select items in a distribution center to fulfill orders.
• Stand for long hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a freezer as part of the job.
• Shift is 6:50 am start with a Sunday–Thursday schedule; overtime and peak periods may apply.
