Job summary

Fortune East is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Union, NJ facility. The role involves receiving, dispatching, and stocking merchandise, loading/unloading vehicles, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The position runs 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary) at $17.75 per hour, on a full-time schedule. Candidates should be at least 18, with a high school diploma and forklift proficiency. Local candidates only.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as general laborer, preferably in a refrigerated warehouse.
• Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Good moral character.
• Physically strong, agile, and dexterous; not deterred by heights or adverse weather.
• Solid attendance and reliable work history.
• Available to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach truck and electric pallet jack safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in the work area.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and handle inventory.
• Accept and count incoming stock; mark and store inventory.
• Inspect inventory for damage and report issues.
• Build loads on pallets and prepare shipments with forklift.
