Job summary

• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while lifting carrying stacks of empty flats.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to work indoors in a wet and humid environment and stand on hard surfaces.
• Ability to travel stairs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Basic mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dry, sanitize and tag flats for return to farms.
• Maintain safety and food safety compliance as a Core Value.
• Adhere to GMPs and sanitary conditions to protect product quality.
• Operate flat washer, monitor loading and avoid jams.
• Process stacks of flats from washing to spin drying and onto skids.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with area housekeeping.
• Tag flats correctly and clean machines as needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
