Job summary

TRAC Tire Services in Florence, KY is seeking a Retread Technician for 1st shift to operate machinery and manage tire retreading from inspection through curing. The role emphasizes quality and safety in a team environment.

The shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four 10-hour days, with one rotating weekday off and weekends off. Applicants must lift heavy tires, work in a non-climate-controlled environment, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening and a criminal background check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment (hot summers, cold winters).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Able to lift 50–100 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of commercial tires preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure station is cleaned and stocked and equipment is working properly before and after all shifts.
• Consistently meet or exceed standard metrics per day for each position (tires inspected, tubes pulled, etc.).
• Work well in a team environment; may be asked to work multiple positions daily to meet daily goals.
• Maintain and update logs and tracking spreadsheets as needed.
• Show up to work in a timely and consistent fashion to ensure your shift does not lose productivity.
• Identify when handling hazardous materials and use proper PPE procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
