Lawrence Equipment in California is seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our 1st shift, Mon–Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will weld and fabricate metal components to spec, read blueprints, and ensure sanitary welding standards where applicable.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with responsibilities including laser welding, pipe threading, and inspecting joints, while maintaining a clean, productive work area.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures.
• Familiarity with pipe threading processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tig and laser welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation.
• Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
