Job summary

Lawrence Equipment, Inc. in Banning, California, is seeking a Senior TIG Welder for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will weld and fabricate metal components to exact specifications, using TIG and laser welding techniques and aligning with sanitary welding standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures.
• Familiarity with pipe threading processes.
• Competence in laser welding.
• TIG welding: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform Tig and laser welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation.
• Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
