Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Technician to verify, prep, and ship materials from our west-side facility. Responsibilities include matching shipment details to purchase orders, selecting methods and routes, handling totes, operating a forklift, and communicating with carriers for pickups.

Qualifications

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Material Handling experience.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Crane and hoist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Compare identifying information on counts, weights or measures for shipments against bills of lading, packing lists, or orders.
• Determine shipment method, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons and identify destination and method of shipment.
• Operate forklift to move materials as needed.
