Job summary

The Shipper at NORD Gear Corporation is responsible for prepping and packaging units according to customer specifications, removing tape and prepping materials, and preparing SAP shipments. The role supports inventory checks and participates in efficiency and cost-savings programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Skills and Key Attributes: Ability to read, write, and basic math skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Remove all tape/prepping material from units.
• Add nameplates, assembly lids, hardware as required by order.
• Package and weigh units.
• Prepare SAP shipments.
• Clean work/storage area and check inventories.
• Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost-savings programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
