Job summary

Applied Laboratories seeks a Setup Technician to support production operations through machine setups, changeovers, equipment adjustments, startup checks, and basic troubleshooting. This role serves as the first point of technical support for production equipment issues and works closely with the Maintenance team to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to follow setup procedures, safety rules, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
• Ability to follow setup procedures and production requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, startup checks, and equipment adjustments on production equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues and determine whether they can be resolved within the Setup Technician scope.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments or repairs.
• Escalate issues to Maintenance when problems require advanced repairs or fall outside the role.
• Communicate equipment issues clearly and assist Maintenance personnel as needed.
• Follow GMP, quality, safety, lockout/tagout, and hazardous energy control requirements.
• Document equipment issues, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions.
• Support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.
