Job summary

Pacific American Fish Co Inc is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Vernon, CA to oversee daily warehouse operations for refrigerated and frozen seafood storage and distribution. The role requires coordinating dock activities, staff, and workflow to ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining strict food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehousing or logistics, 1–2 years in leadership, and experience with cold-chain, inventory control, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse, distribution, logistics or related field.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
• Experience with refrigerated/frozen products and cold-chain.
• Knowledge of inventory control, receiving, shipping, lot tracking.
• Ability to lead, train and hold staff accountable for safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
• Lead and coordinate warehouse staff to meet workflow and staffing needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, rotation and cycle counts.
• Coordinate dock operations and ensure timely customer deliveries.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards across operations.
• Operate and oversee safe use of material-handling equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, QA/QC, Transportation.
