Job summary

Unique Industries is seeking a Team Lead for the First Shift in our Virginia Receiving Department. You will coordinate line staff, ensure accurate work orders, and support daily operations with a focus on safety and quality.

You will supervise duties, train new hires, maintain logs, and collaborate across departments to optimize processes. The role requires strong math skills and proficiency in MS Office, JDE, and WMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Ability to communicate with management and co-workers to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Organize and delegate responsibilities to line staff to keep the department efficient.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in completion of all work orders.
• Troubleshoot process problems and relay to supervisor.
• Provide training to new hires and existing employees.
• Maintain daily logs and records for reporting.
• Direct proper stacking, labeling, and inspection of orders.
• Promote safety and quality across the department.
• Support manager with performance feedback and issue resolution.
