Job summary

Standex in New Berlin, WI is seeking an Inspector to ensure raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products meet all standards and customer requirements. You will document results and support continuous SQDC improvements on a 7:00am-3:30pm shift.

Use micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators to perform GD&T-based inspections, report nonconformities, and help drive process improvements while maintaining safety and 5S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for compliance.
• Document results and nonconformities to support SQDC goals.
• Perform inspections using micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Apply basic GD&T concepts such as Straightness, Flatness, and Perpendicularity.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Participate in audits, trainings, and team meetings.
