Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Inspector in Ashland, AL to join the Quality Department.

You will inspect components, verify color and finish quality, and support production with timely defect resolution. The ideal candidate has high school or GED, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Identify and document defects and ensure proper tickets/paperwork.
• Interpret drawings to verify part specifications where applicable.
• Support daily quality goals and participate in toolbox meetings.
• Inspect and verify color/finish consistency and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues and stop lines if necessary.
• Assist in audits and maintain accurate inspection records.
